City of Logan - weather update 1.30pm Friday 1 May

As of 1.30pm Friday 1 May, the City of Logan has received up to 20mm of rain in some locations since 9am this morning.
Forecasts remain for increasing rain from lunch time today through to midnight – beginning to ease overnight.
There are currently no reports of roads closed due to flooding in Logan. Updates will be provided at www.logan.qld.gov.au
Wide spread falls of 75mm to 150mm are predicted through different locations across the city and there is a risk of isolated storms from this afternoon through to late tonight clearing by lunch time tomorrow.

Stay off the roads if you can and don't travel through any flooded roadways.
Those who have concerns about localised flooding can visit the following locations for help with sandbags.
Winnetts Rd SES (26-36 Winnetts Rd, Daisy Hill) – Now until 7pm tonight.
Logan Village SES (1464 Waterford-Tamborine Rd) – Now until 4pm today.
Marsden Depot (177 Chambers Flat Road) – now until 4pm today.
