Severe weather update - 3.30pm, Saturday 21 February
The Bureau of Meteorology has now cancelled the severe thunderstorm warning, however rain is likely to continue into the evening.
Creeks and drains will be flowing for several days and river levels will be elevated but peak levels have passed.
Some roads are still closed across the City of Logan but are expected to reopen over the afternoon and evening. Road closure information on Council's website will be updated again on Monday morning.
Council will continue to monitor the weather situation for any changes.
The public sandbag distribution demand has diminished and the service will be closed at 4pm today. The SES will continue to meet any requests.
